I don't know about the rest but I had a few leftover branded command strips and a shortage of hooks to use. , so I took them exclusively for hooks. Since the items I was planning to hang were glass or had any value to me I wouldn't use the strips provided but I would certainly try them if they weren't. I got them, tore off the glue. turned off and used with real command bars. I even trimmed some of them to fit the smaller strips. The back of these strips has a slightly textured finish due to the shapes, which is almost always a plus in the adhesive world, and while I have no evidence that this helps here, it certainly wasn't detrimental. This method may be the best alternative for those who want to save money on something they want to hang safely, burn themselves, and then still order the right product.
