I had no problems using this controller to play Zelda: BotW, Pokémon Sw/Sh and Xenoblade. The alarm works, which is an improvement over the Nyko Pro I bought a year ago. I did not observe any input delays. Had no problem connecting the controller without the cable that came with it as the docking station wasn't set up at the time. There's a USB-A to USB Type-C cable in the box if you want to connect to the dock and charge it too. The instructions were easy to follow. The only downside I have with this controller is that it wakes up when you press any button, unlike other 3rd party controllers that use a home button so your battery can die while traveling if you don't have one Ability to pin it without touching it.
