This model was offered under warranty instead of a 1.5 TB hard drive from the same manufacturer that failed after 3 weeks. Without checking the performance in the store, I could not connect it to the computer at home. The hard drive was not defined as an external drive. Took it to a service center. Without saying a word they gave another one just like it. Worked for 2 weeks. Began to click and crack. I'll take it and I won't contact Seagate anymore. Three screws and all with the same flaw! Per month! I think that's a statistic!
