These are alright. Best for pen and pencil work.
As a journal, these are alright. For writing and sketching with dry media like pencils and most ballpoint pens, this works well. It could be an inexpensive and decently sturdy sketchbook or daily journal. Any of the more wet media (like markers and felt-tip pens) will bleed a little, ghost a lot, and lay down color unreliably while pilling the surface.
