Review on Ultimate Odor Control: Prestige Pet Magic Cat Litter Deodorizer by Brian Hood

I give 5 stars BUT then I have to take them away for various reasons.1. The reason I give it 5 stars is that it came quickly and completely eliminated almost all odors not inhibited by the filler. It works! However.2. A kitten looked very funny in the tray as I poured the charcoal. Little did I know that look meant he was in trouble. The other cat had no problem with that. She is my cat mistress, loves all cleaning supplies and doesn't really stop at them. He, on the other hand. He vomited twice within 2 full days. Once off the tray and the next time in a different location. The next day he poops outside the tray and then completely outside the room. I've read a ton and found that he's either ill for some unknown reason or doesn't like his filler/charcoal combo. I work in the medical field. and I know that activated charcoal causes vomiting or a bowel movement if there is something in the intestines. So I gave him probiotics, no wet food, fish oil and apple cider vinegar and completely replaced and flushed the liter box with new non-charcoal litter. He needed to poop on the floor from 6am until everyone was changed. and cleaning until 8 p.m. to finally poop on the tray again. I have to say that this charcoal was the only thing I made differently, so although it does what it's supposed to do, we can't use it. 😐
