I am new to the simulation world. I bought a used Thrustmaster T300 with TH8a Ricmotech mods and the stand is holding up pretty well. Doesn't spin much when driving. A little movement when shifting, but it's okay if you think you're really good and need to shift gears. I have a regular cheap office chair that rolls on carpet and I don't move that much unless I'm yelling at the game to go FASTER! The thing weighs a ton because I have to place it in front of the monitor and then move it out of the way when I'm done playing. The foldable version is good but I'll never use it because it's so heavy. The instructions are a bit rubbish and all together it was annoying. NOT difficult, just annoying. I am planning to upgrade to a full seat setup. But that's enough for now.
