My husband bought me this massage seat cushion hoping it would help me get rid of pain better than my old heating pad. I have severe degenerative osteoarthritis and for the past few days my body has been in pain from the neck to the tailbone. To be honest given the money I have to spend I would look for more expensive brands that offer a better price lol! Anyway, I ordered it and it arrived quickly in very easy to open packaging. After taking it out of the box I had a moment of panic. There were plugs and cords and straps and little hooks and where, where should I plug it in? Was there a battery pack in that bag? My husband wasn't home and I'm a total idiot when it comes to putting things like this together. DO NOT WORRY ABOUT IT! Just set it up according to the simple instructions and you'll be relaxing in minutes. This"battery"? Unfortunately it was a controller, also very easy to read and use. 2 functions for each of the three massage blocks; upper back, lower back and thighs. You can choose "massage" or "pulse" and you also have the option to choose heat. I figured it out in no time, and look! It also comes with an adapter so you can take it with you on long car rides which is a BIG PLUS for me as our family lives far away from us. Basically, the straps and hooks here come in handy to attach the massage cushion to your chair or car seat. Of course I had to try, and after checking the controls, I settled comfortably on my new pillow and sat back down. hoping for pain relief. After a few minutes I understood. Small, deep, penetrating massage. A mellow, warm, temperate atmosphere that was calming and relaxing but most importantly made me REALLY feel so much better. The pulse option was definitely used for my sore shoulders, although sometimes I had to change positions to get to the right spot. I tried the hip version but it didn't do anything for me except made my shaking hips shake even more lol! But it can only work against cellulite! Overall, the RELAXZEN 60-2926 is worth the money if you're looking for a mid-range massager. I didn't give it 5 stars just because the upper back control doesn't work far enough to support the base of my neck area. However, it is very well made and was VERY useful yesterday when we had to make a long journey to visit a sick relative. I definitely recommend this product.
