Battery or USB for outdoor lighting
This is normal. The battery is as expected, but when you try to add USB things start to look a bit messy. I think I expected to be able to unplug the battery and plug in the USB cable, but the battery is still there. The light works, I've only had it on for a few days but everything is on although some are a bit dimmer than others. They're not bad and I use them as Christmas decorations so I don't know if they can be used all year round.
