Review on Men's Timex Expedition Grid Shock 50mm Watch by Ryan Marx

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Big and beautiful. Heavy and bold.

Pretty much everything I like BENEFITS: - Simple display and large numbers tell me the time and date just by looking at the watch - Date can be displayed in US or European format (MM-DD and DD .MM).- The watch is very comfortable on my wrist thanks to the wide strap. On the inside which prevents it from moving along the bracelet so the free end of the bracelet never comes loose. The buttons are never accidentally pressed when I flex my wrist (I have this problem with a Casio dress watch) - The greenish INDIGLO backlight only illuminates the numbers, not the entire display. It looks amazing in the dark. - Sound signals (if activated) are quite quiet, which is much less annoying for others. - The vibrating alarm clock can make your reminders completely private. CONS: - No "Daylight Saving Time". special feature. If you travel to a different time zone, you will need to set the hour manually or switch to another preset time mode (this watch supports three of them) - Plastic glass is easy to scratch. Take good care of your watch. Use but don't overuse. NEUTRAL: - The circle of 10 discs in the top left corner of the display is sort of a simple 10-second chronograph/timer that runs continuously: 10 seconds to fill the circle with discs, then another 10 seconds to close it Clear.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
