I needed extra flatware for guests and didn't want to spend money to add Oneida flatware to my 20 year old flatware. It's simple, classic and just as shiny as my Oneida. A steak knife is pointed and very sharp, so make sure you put this knife face down in the dishwasher to avoid injury. The only thing that says on the back is stainless steel, there is no other name. They also don't bend when you take out ice cream. So far they have held up well in the dishwasher.
