Review on Stonewall Kitchen Herbes Provence Lotion by April Boyce

Not for the faint of heart

I first considered two packs of this lotion (which was a better deal at the time) and am now relieved to have been held back. For personal use I can't imagine how many years two bottles will last and I have no such commitment. This lotion is STRONG. In my office, I usually ask clients if they have an allergy or aversion to strong smells before using it, or I use it in the hallway. I like the scent but I can understand why the online reviewers are divided. This lotion is best applied in small amounts. It's too thick to spread quickly or absorb easily, so it's best used only as a hand lotion (as the product name describes) rather than a body lotion. However, due to its attractiveness, it does not require frequently repeated applications. With all of these qualities, I personally experienced it before ordering it online, so I was an informed consumer. I'm hesitant to recommend it without the looks (or the scent), but if you like strong herbal scents (lavender, rosemary, etc.) and dare, then go for it!

Pros
  • Vitamin-enriched lotion for a feeling of cleanliness and softness
Cons
  • Repair
