Review on Blue iLuv Hard Shell Case with Aluminum Front for iPod Touch 3G by Mike West

I bought this in May this year and was very happy with it at first. This is a plastic case with an aluminum front panel (for decoration only). The case fit well and seemed to protect my iPod well. About a week after I put it on, the aluminum bezel (which is glued to the front of the case with just three drops of glue) came loose. Not really a big deal since I was able to fix it with super glue. I ended up dropping my iPod on the carpet (knocking it off the table) and the case opened and my iPod fell to the floor. My iPod was intact so I guess the case did the job. However, when I tried to put the case back together, I found that it would not close. Looking more closely, I noticed that all of the clips holding the two parts of the case had come loose, leaving the case unusable now. I give it 3 stars because it protected my iPod from damage. but I can't rate it higher due to its cheap construction and the fact that it broke after only being dropped once (onto carpet from about 3ft).
