It's much smaller than I expected but does an excellent job of holding the tether tools tether in the two smaller slots. I put the cable through both for added security, or maybe it should be as it didn't come with clear instructions. The bigger slots are for a bigger cable, HDMI I think. Tighten the center screw in the tripod mounting hole in the camera with the cable between the slots and the camera body and they are securely fastened. The screw has an internal thread on the handle so that it can be attached to a camera tripod, etc., so using it in the camera hole does not affect the ability to attach to a tripod.
