Review on 🚲 Mini Rasp for Riders by Steven Pankey

I bought this to care for my horse's exhibited hooves between visits to Farrir. I like the idea of the thing very much, but it was almost impossible to really change the hoof with this rasp. Loosening it up for a few minutes would make almost no difference (fortunately my horses are excellent and patient). This might be fine for frequent, tiny shavings, but for something bigger, it's more trouble than it's worth. I'd be okay if it took a while, but a piece of sandpaper would do a lot more. The handle was tricky to use in the position you had to hold the hoof for the rasp - not impossible, just tricky. usually use a rasp on it, but we'll see). This is not a bad product, you just need to clearly understand what it is for. tiny tiny frequent grinds or maybe really really soft hooves or maybe like a final grind or something. It may be more beneficial to animals other than horses. To be honest for horses I would recommend looking elsewhere.
