Review on Red NextGen 16-inch Kids Bike by Gregory Shin

Extremely cheap children's bike

I bought this bike before any reviews came out which I never did. I would like to wait because there are not many positive things about this children's bike. The bike took about 7 days to arrive which was listed so that was to be expected. The bike frame itself looks good, but everything else is very cheap and poorly made. I knew I would have to assemble the bike but the instructions are terrible. I have experience with assembling bikes and the necessary tools, but it might be too difficult for the average person. I would stay away from this bike if you have any doubts about the build. As I mentioned, bike parts are so cheap that my son wore out his brake pads in less than 30 minutes of use. The front rack, brakes and fenders are so poorly made it looks like a poorly made toy. The price of this bike may seem reasonable, but I can assure you that it won't cost more than $20. I would advise against this purchase.

Pros
  • Easy assembly
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
