The outer fur of the costume is so soft as in the picture - like a high quality polyester blanket, the stitching is perfect and I love how the inner lining is so cool to her Pet doesn't overheat, but it's an awkward size for cats, and it would be better if the buttons were snap-on rather than see-through to make it easier to put on. My cat is just over the recommended weight of 4.5kg (=9.92lbs) in the size chart and weighs 10lbs so I was able to adjust him and the length was perfect as it didn't reach his tail but unfortunately it was too small to button up The long sleeves made it feel restricted and the hood was so big it covered half his face and made him look down due to the weight so I had to return it.
