Review on πŸš† Modular Travel System, Metro - Century Swap by Jasmine Lovett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Seems to be a great product at a very reasonable price

I really appreciate a couple of things about this product: It's made from recycled plastic, it's very light (compared to other baby carriers and stroller frames) that can adjust the usual seat forwards or backwards! (There's also an optional bassinet that's sold separately, but I didn't buy it.) I bought it on sale and the reviews were few, but they were ALL overwhelmingly positive, which put my mind at ease. Assembling everything (haven't used it yet as baby is expected in early September) I have a couple of issues: seat so you need to find a place to store it until the child grows up) and then remove the seat from and fold the frame, there is nothing on top - how to put it in the car? You probably need two hands and just grab from both sides? It seems to me uncomfortable and uncomfortable. I really wish there was a carry handle or something I could add to make it more convenient. I also wish the folding mechanism could be done with one hand instead of having to press two levers at once. Oh, and it says it stands upright when folded on its own, but it doesn't - you have to lean it against something. 2) The baby carrier is light and beautiful, but also requires two hands to lift it and lower the carrying handle. In addition, the handle is firmly connected to the sun visor! This means: a) you cannot comfortably lift the screen with one hand; and b) when he's in the car, when the handle is up (which is presumably because you've just carried the baby out) then the shade is up, partially blocking your view and also making it so you can't can see the baby. If you are in the front seat and the car seat is in the back, there is no way to reach both levers to lower the blind. This upsets me greatly; I'm already thinking about buying another child seat. So he has some problems; I disagree with giving 5 stars everywhere. This is a good set and I love that it comes in a variety of colors, not just black.
