UPDATE: We've been using this for a little over a year and it's holding up great. Ours is mounted where it will be exposed to the elements. We had no problems with wind and weather in Wisconsin. It holds up well in strong winds. I highly recommend this mount. It works well with our Arlo Pro 2 camera. Since our house has a stone facade, the camera needs to be mounted on the ceiling. We had to install a camera downstairs to clear the security system already in place. It worked great. According to meteorologists, the wind speed has not exceeded 11 miles per hour, but it has not yet been shaken by the wind. With this mount, we were able to use the original outdoor power cord because it includes a metal extension that screws into the mounting hole on the camera to extend it. We couldn't use another brand's power cord because it didn't come with an extension cord.
