Review on πŸ”’ SNS SAFETY LTD Adjustable Polycarbonate by Richard Cunningham

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect for snuggling up against my garage wall.

To make room for two cars in our garage, I wanted to park a few inches from the side wall of the garage. It's a Camry, and it's pretty hard to tell where the front corner is when I sneak past the vertical bar of the garage door. My method was to step back a few inches, get out and look, walk a few inches further, get out again, etc. etc. I had to flex the mount a bit to get the mirror to line up with the rail when seen from the car, but everything worked. I was expecting based on other reviews that I would have to disassemble the mirror to remove the dust cover, but it turned out that there was a very slight crease on one edge, possibly on purpose, so I was able to pick up the cover and it immediately detached . After the cover was removed, I was impressed with how sharp and clear the mirror is, allowing me to slide the door track down just about an inch for a perfect parking job.

Pros
  • Convex polycarbonate mirror is impact resistant, virtually unbreakable, highly reflective and scratch resistant. The special aluminum profile around the mirror ensures increased strength and durability. Can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Cons
  • packaging is ugly
