I ordered this product because it was a cheap way to fertilize my planted aquarium. Not only did the package arrive earlier than expected, it did an excellent job of fertilizing the plants I chose in the aquarium. This fertilizer is great for sterilizing aquarium water, making it safe for plants and fish. It also helps remove any chlorine from tap water, which comes in handy because it makes changing the water so much easier. rule of thumb; If you're like me, I ordered a fertilizer for a very small amount of water (less than 3 gallons), which is problematic as 1 cap is the dose for a 5 gallon aquarium. To solve this problem, add a small amount of fertilizer (less than a full lid) to a separate container of water. Let the water sit overnight to allow the fertilizer to mix fully. Then add (about a cup or two depending on your tank) water to your tank. Repeat this process when the water is gone. All in all, this product is worth the money and I would highly recommend it to any beginner like me.
