I selected this bag to replace my previous mini messenger bag, which became torn going through a TSA checkpoint years ago. The canvas fabric has a pleasantly rough texture and appearance. Stitching looks good; there were some loose ends poking out, but a needle and thread quickly secured them out of view. Some scraps of thread and fabric were present, but vacuumed off easily. The leather and metal accents pair nicely with the gray canvas.As pictured:•Front appearance after filling bag with my typical items.•Under flap pocket with card slots, cash compartment, D-ring to attach lanyard or retractable keyring, extra space for coin purse and additional items.•Front main pocket is very spacious and has two open compartments.•Back main pocket is deep, and has a small zippered compartment which is great for medication or other small lightweight items. Not as much space as the front main pocket, and is better for soft items such as reusable shopping bags or clothing made of thin fabrics.•Back pocket is ideal for thin, flat items like takeout menus which will not be uncomfortable against your body.•Pocket on front flap feels very durable, and seems ideal for small, heavy items such as a portable charger. This is the easiest pocket to access and may be convenient for some of your most used items.Not pictured: Two open pockets under shoulder straps, good for travel-sized lotion, hand sanitizer, vape, or other items which may fit snugly. May be too loose for smaller items, but they're deep enough to hold lighters or pens if you are careful not to invert the bag.
