I bought these to reorganize some of the things I keep in my garage. I don't hang anything very heavy on it, just some battery powered garden tools. I really like the rubber on the temples, it seems to prevent scratches and also prevents slipping, which is very valuable. I can't even talk about screws. Like any gadget I buy from Revain or the big department stores, I immediately toss it in a bucket of screws for use elsewhere. They seem better than most pieces of hardware, but they were too short to actually cut into the studs in my application: I have 1/2" thick drywall and 1/2" insulation that I have to go through before I hit the studs; relying on them to withstand penetration of an inch or less into wood seems like a bad idea. This and I hate Phillips head screws and avoid them like the plague, life's too short for that disappointment .
