Review on 🎸 LEKATO 5.8Hz Wireless Guitar System - Wireless Audio Electric Guitar Transmitter Receiver - 4 Channels Transmission Range - High Frequency - Rechargeable Battery by Joseph Brendemuehl

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wireless 5.8 GHz, 4 channels

I bought Lekato 5.8 GHz after reading many reviews about other products. When I received the package, the transmitter and receiver were almost fully charged. Before trying them out, I first used the wired connection as a reference for comparison, with a Fender Stratocaster connected to a DigiTech RP1000 effects unit. I unplugged the cable and plugged the transmitter into the guitar and the receiver into the DigiTech RP1000. I turned on the receiver and the link LED started blinking green. As soon as I turn on the transmitter, it immediately connects to the receiver. I was pleased to find that there is no degradation in the signal going through the RP1000's effects. The wireless connection maintained unity gain at full audio bandwidth with no noticeable latency or noise. The 1/4" connector ensures a firm connection and enough resistance to prevent the device from clicking with every movement of the body. The wireless connection seemed stable as I walked away in a straight line about 100 feet away. The increased latency you get with distance has nothing to do with Lekato devices, it's due to the audio's natural rate limitation. By the way. The Link LED on the transmitter and receiver are also buttons to switch to one of the 4 channels interference if another team member is using the same product.
