This is my second set of straps because the first set started to loosen at the back and (slightly) discolored my skin after wearing them daily for OVER a year . I only used the thicker band, never the thinner one. Make sure you understand the instructions before attempting to adjust your harness to ensure you don't have any problems. Very easy to understand instructions. I covered the crystals and backing with clear nail polish. Worked great as I had the first one for over a year before having problems with it. In all the time I've been using this product for the first set, I've never had any crystals fall out.
