Review on Deliciously Crispy Tortilla Bowl Makers: Norpro Nonstick Solution by Roman Starr

I ordered them from Amazon after seeing an advert on TV for a product similar to what I saw on TV, first class delivery and all that, I wanted it fast ! I was so excited to try them and they didn't disappoint at all. It was a large set, not a mini (although I placed an order for the mini last night to use on dessert bowls, can't wait) and they fit in a taco salad. I haven't eaten a taco salad in over a decade as when I eat out most of them are fried and too high in fat and calories. They came out excellent and were a lot lower in fat and calories! My first attempt was to make dessert bowls with small tortillas out of them. I brushed it with orange juice and sprinkled generously with a mixture of cinnamon, sugar and some nutmeg. I baked it at 375 degrees for 8 minutes but realized it could take a little longer so I left it at 10 but later I was happier with 11 minutes for my oven. I made homemade vanilla ice cream and these bowls were sooooo good. They're almost too chewy to break, the tortilla flakes fly around, but it's delicious! Then I made taco shells. At first I thought of using olive or coconut oil to coat the top and bottom and then sprinkle the spices and spices onto the Tex Mex, but then I thought the orange juice I used didn't do it that well adds a lot of orange flavor so I figured the liquid was there to moisturize and help the spice stick to the skin so I brushed it with orange juice and savory spices and sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese. YUM! I will post pictures of the shells I took. I think next time I'll use chicken broth for savory mussels and add orange or apple juice. Wait, pineapple juice would be delicious too, I bet. I love these pans, they work and have opened up new possibilities for culinary adventures!
