I bought this for my Prismacolor Premier pencils. You can stuff 200 small crayons in if you put 4 crayons in each stretch section, but I wouldn't recommend doing this with Prismacolors as it makes them too difficult to pop in and out and can warp the already very problematic pencil. I have duplicates of many of my Prismacolors because I've bought about 80 of them individually over the past few years and then made a deal about a month ago on a set of 132 for $45. If it's hard to close when it's full of pencils, those looking for markers or gel pens should keep looking, as it's likely impossible to close, let alone try to flip through inserts to choose colors . I can't say anything about durability. I will adjust the rating accordingly. **Update** I found a pencil case for my Prismacolors and put my set of 120 Faber Castells pencils inside. It's not bad, but it's not my favorite case, but I'm getting used to it. I'm still having trouble simply scrolling through to find the right pin and it's still having trouble closing. I found the Faber Castells have larger stems so the 3 in each stretch section are a little tight for a while until he remembers the number of pencils he's holding and scratches and nicks them but doesn't deform them. like prismacolors. They're about the same price and hold 210-216 pens and the inserts are removable, which is great if you just want to carry a specific set or a couple of pens in a briefcase or similar. One of them came with a briefcase. I won't go into detail as this review is not intended to be about pencil cases, just thought it would be helpful for those looking for something more. I have found I have room to add my set of 72 Marco Raffines as they are very small and 4 rubber bands will not damage them like Prismacolors. I still can't speak about the durability as I don't use it daily but so far no broken zippers which I expected because it was a hassle to close them even though they were only half full. You really can't go wrong unless you have a lot of pens to protect and can put up with the issues listed. Sorry if I made a book out of this review but it has been updated several times in the last 4 months and I have 6 different styles of pencil case just trying to find the perfect one(s) so guess I even get very detailed reviews if they read like a novel. ;)
