The hanger comes with four small self-adhesive tabs that attach to the door overhang and protect the door panel. There were no guards for the underside of the vertical parts of the hanger, which are likely to rub against the door when clothes are added or removed. So we added a clear rubber dot, commonly used on closet doors, to keep the base of the hanger off the surface of the door. Otherwise we are very satisfied with the trailer. And it was easy to assemble and hang on the door.
