See my pics. The RAM came in a plastic SSD holder that was cut to fit the RAM, not a RAM shaped case and definitely not in the original box. It looks like some kind of sticker was removed from the RAM leaving the adhesive behind and some of the text for the hardware serial number was removed when the sticker was removed. Obviously this came from another unit and was resold as new. That's why I'm giving it 3 stars, nowhere is it mentioned that this is refurbished or reused hardware. I bought it because it fits right in with the 8GB flash drive I already have in my laptop. It might be better to just buy 16GB of RAM from another source. The RAM itself is easy to install in less than 5 minutes by removing the back cover of my laptop. The computer recognizes the RAM and now I have 16GB as shown by Windows. Wouldn't buy it again due to poor shipping condition and unknown recycled use.
