Upgrade from MSI Gaming Plus X370. Bought for a Ryzen 7 5800x, installed the latest BIOS on USB but when I booted up I didn't even need to update the BIOS, it was already installed out of the box! I specifically chose it for the excellent VRM cooling and performance phases. Many boards in this price range only make direct contact with the VRM, NOT the power phases. It comes with heatsinks for BOTH m.2 slots. RGB is cool, but my computer is in another room where I'm not using it, so I don't care. The BIOS reset button on the bottom of the board is SUPER handy when overclocking; You don't need to remove the GPU to remove the battery, just press the button and reboot. Booting up my Windows 10 is much faster compared to MSI Gaming Plus X370. I chose the MSI B550 because the X570 is significantly more expensive and doesn't really offer more performance.
