Review on EGOGO S2209: Ultimate Travel Companion With Water Bottle Holder And Hiking Bag Functionality by George Marquez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great for my short hikes in the woods.

I use this waist bag every day when on my daily hikes through our wooded property. The hikes are about an hour or so, just long enough that I need to bring a small amount of water for myself and sometimes my dogs who walk with us. The pouch holds a 17oz bottle of water perfectly. It has a bungee type strap to cinch up around the bottle to keep it from falling out, and I use that strap to also wrap it over the top of the bottle for added security.I like to carry my cell phone because you never know if an emergency might happen that I would need to call for help, or to take pictures of some of the beautiful sites we see while on our walk. This pouch has plenty of room for my huge cell phone with its massive extended battery pack. I still have enough room in the main pocket to carry a snack if I choose too, along with a hair band or clips and other little necessities that I might need on our hike. There is a separate smaller pocket on the front to hold even more little things. Its big, but still comfortable enough, and there is a mesh backing so it doesn't get too hot against my body. My only complaint is that the strap tends to loosen itself up just from walking. I have to keep pulling the strap tight again so my bag doesn't end up sagging on my waist. I finally just put a safety pin through the straps to keep it in place. That works, but I feel it should have a slide with more grip to prevent this from happening. It would make a nice pack to wear for outings where you don't want to carry a bag, but you also want water onboard. Its made of quality materials and craftsmanship, just wish the strap held itself tighter without my safety pin.

Pros
  • Perfect small waist pack for traveling, cycling, running, exercising, amusement park. You can put your ID cards, keys, cash, camera, phone, snacks inside.
Cons
  • May not have a waterproof cover for rainy weather
