I ordered a pair of these shoes to replace a pair of Bogs City Walkers which I've had for over four years now. Before I bought Urban Walkers, I wore a pair of Bogs Carson Boots from 2012 for everyday use and a pair of their Forge Steel Toe Boots for work from 2015. As soon as I took the Sauvies out of the box to try them on, I have the boot with the Pulled heel strap over foot and the strap came off immediately. I dismissed this as a defective product and ordered a replacement. To my disappointment, the straps on the left and right boots of the spare pair immediately came loose! This is highly unlikely as I have used the straps hundreds if not thousands of times in exactly the same way as my City Walkers. Also, boots are useless if worn without straps. This is totally unacceptable, disappointing and a waste of time. I have been very happy with the Bogs product for nine years, have recommended their product to dozens of people and look forward to buying and using for many years to come. Looking back, I should have read other one and two star reviews for this product.
