Sometimes I wear polyester-microfiber denim pants with a microfiber-polyester "fisherman" shirt. The two polyesters slide over each other like ice on a hot Teflon grill, and no amount of tightening of the belt will hold the pants. I tried the Sticky Strap Widget and it worked a bit. This spiked belt worked very well. Others here have complained about the difficulty of getting the button through the belt holes and they are absolutely right, this aspect really needs improvement. Maybe some kind of industrial-grade Uber Velcro. But once you get past the fastening problems, this device will actually weld your shirt and pants together!
