Not for air brake systems

It's what they say it is other than you should not use these for nylon tubing. There isn't an insert,which prevents the tubing from collapsing. I do not recommend this product if you need to splice together a high pressure air line on a commercial vehicle.

Pros

I patched brake lines on old cars that don't go on the highway.

Cons

There is a risk of cross-threading the nut and tube when installing, leading to damage or breakages
