I bought this lens for hiking and used it with my Sony a7riii. My major is landscape photography. I was drawn to this lens for its small size and lightness, good optical quality (according to reviews) and ability to do macro photography. Firstly, this lens exceeded all my expectations. I have a lot of Sony GM glass and this lens doesn't quite match those lenses; however, it's only worth a fraction of the price. If you are looking for light weight and reliable performance, look no further. I am happy with the performance of this lens for what I use it for and give it an unqualified recommendation.
