As a towel it is fine and can be used in most drying conditions, however microfiber towels tend to work best when dampened first. This towel is too big to use on cars. The reason it's too big is that it's almost impossible to squeeze out. Every time I try to wring it out, the water I wring out lands on a different part of the towel. The water makes it heavy and doesn't dry out the car. If you have one of those rollers that is squeezing out water that will fix the problem but I don't. Also, the towels are very long and when you try to do certain things, they will come close to the floor and it will be difficult to keep them from getting dirty. A smaller version of this towel would have been a lot more comfortable, otherwise it's a pretty decent towel.
