This product is worth the money! I bought this because our son took his diaper off one night without us knowing, luckily he wasn't peeing but I knew I needed something should it happen again and we weren't so lucky . The material is very soft and perfect for a mattress. It had no odor as stated by some reviews (not sure if they fixed that issue). I can officially say that it protects against liquid. Our son took off his diaper and peed on the bed. The fitted sheet and mattress pad were soaked. I took them off expecting the mattress to be a little damp because there was so much urine, but the mattress was completely dry. It was very easy to clean. Bought a second one as a replacement. Definitely recommend! I wanted to come back and add to this review after my son spilled a whole cup of water in his bed. I was expecting to see the mattress wet due to so much water spilling, NOT DRIPPING on the mattress. This is a miracle and a salvation!
