This spring I wanted to change my bedroom. I went for something with blue and yellow and this comforter/spread was perfect. I went from my really nice winter blanket, which was heavier, to this lighter bedspread and paired it with a yellow waffle blanket from the same company. I also added a set of dark blue euro overlays from this company to complete the look. Added some light blue for contrast and I love the look. My wife laughs at me for all the pillows but they certainly look beautiful. I bought a king bed for my queen bed because I wanted it bigger. This duvet is quite roomy. If I order a king instead of a queen, I can fold the top down for a more contrasting look and still have enough for the sides and edge of the bed. My mattress is adjustable so I can't just roll it up underneath. With a larger duvet, I don't have to worry about the duvet underneath showing at the foot of the bed. I only washed it once and slept under it for about a week. i really like it It's much lighter yet still warm enough for the very chilly night we just experienced.
