The photo I posted is an original product from the Samsung website compared to the product supplied (and displayed) by AMZN. First I noticed that it was very light compared to the previous filters I had installed and then I went to the Samsung website to see photos of genuine products. I noticed that the labels were identical except for the container section. The original version shows gallons before liters while AMZN sent me liters before gallons. I spoke to a Samsung customer service rep who ultimately confirmed it was probably a fake. The number of counterfeit products is amazing. The health risk of using counterfeit filters is significant. I figured that paying full price would reduce the risk, but based on the product I received I will be returning the item and buying directly from Samsung pending AMZN's decision. an item awaiting investigation (rightfully so, in my opinion). Be careful folks. A lot of money for counterfeit goods.
