Review on Balt Table Outlet Charger 66675 by Blake Larson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Now you can connect your desktop devices without having to bend down on the floor every time!

This is a quality power outlet that mounts to the edge of your desk and provides AC and USB power without having to plug and unplug cables from the floor below. The device consists of a thick steel base with a screw clamp that pivots to hold the device securely in place. While it has a somewhat "industrial" look, the appearance is reduced when in place and the slotted top doubles well as a tablet or phone holder. So you can plug your tablet or phone into one of the USB ports to the right of the device and insert the device into the slot above. Now that I have it in place, I wish I had known sooner. The convenience of an attached connector block (as opposed to one just sitting loosely on a table) is really great, and the screw terminal design means the placement decision should never be final: unless you like where you put it. , unscrew it and move it to a more convenient place. Both my tablet and phone fit snugly in the top slot, and if you screw the device on tight enough, you can plug and unplug cables without the device moving. It's also a nice touch that the cable that goes to the plug you plug it into is long, fairly thick and strong. Once you see the device live, you'll understand why it's worth what it does. This is not a cheap device and it seems that it should last for many years. I highly recommend it. Five stars.
