Bought this to hide some old faded wall sockets. It worked great. You don't have to worry about the baby putting the plug in the outlet, it's just a bonus. ====== I always read negative reviews. Here are the complaints and my thoughts.1. "Two power plugs fall out." My plugs are fine. I had to loosen the mounting screws on a couple of bushings. These are the two screws that hold the socket to the wall. This allowed the rosette to slide nicely forward and close to the lid. There was a problem due to the installation of an outlet. The outlet is too deep in the wall.2. "Not enough pads." Foam pads are for exterior walls only. If the old cover didn't have a gasket, you can use one of the included gaskets or trim the insulation a bit. To be honest it's just a little insulation for the outside walls so the inside sockets don't need it. In fact, no one needs a gasket. But why waste heat and cold when you can seal them?3. "They stop closing." The ones I have seem good. I don't usually plug and unplug my devices thousands of times. My bed has a phone extension.
