Would NOT expect to use them more than once

I have an African Fat Tailed Gecko. I order his feed online so I have to order in bulk and needed a way to store the feeders for months. The first time and I thought there would be enough space but keep the worms from escaping. My order arrived and 75% of the lids had broken off a corner. Annoying, but I needed them, so I sorted through and found intact cases. I had to make air holes in the lids and the lids are so flimsy I could use a straight pin (like a mini safety pin) to do this and still crack the lids. I'm weak, I couldn't crack the lid. I used a bed of oatmeal and wheat bran, filling each container halfway and the containers sagged under the weight, which was a big problem. Once I put the worms in and put the lids on VERY carefully otherwise the whole container would squish (again, I'm a pushover, I usually feel bad about crushing and breaking something), the containers felt a little better. Opening and closing them to feed worms or getting food twice a week meant opening and closing the containers gently during prayer and I still felt crushed and torn. I decided to hand wash them when it came time to buy more feeders and I learned that "hot" (warm enough to stand with your bare hands) water is the enemy of these containers and lids . They did not melt completely but were severely deformed. The rest went into the bin and now I store worms differently. I think they could work for salads or sandwiches, for example, something light and mostly dry. I wouldn't eat soup or stew. I would NOT freeze. I would NOT microwave. I wouldn't put anything heavy in it. I would NOT expect to use them more than once, defeating the purpose of buying them entirely for myself. I won't buy this again. This is a disappointing waste.
