Perfect fit. I'm a size 8 and a size 8-8.5 fits perfectly and not too tight just right so I know they will stay. However, they are very cheaply made and you get what you pay for. They didn't last an hour in the pool. When I took them off I was very disappointed to find two holes in one and the beginning of holes in the other. I'm sorry I believed the positive reviews and spent the money on these water socks. If you need water shoes, buy good ones. Don't buy them unless you want something comfortable to lounge around at home or wear to the beach. I have no idea how they'll hold up on the beach, but I think they can hold out there a little longer. Again, you get what you pay for. Lesson learned.
