Replacement melts, like the first one, has only been used 3-4 times. I just got back from a trip and wanted to remove the windshield from the car and it was sticky leaving a ring on the windshield. I won't be using this anymore. I have never managed to completely clean a truck windshield from the first device. Something allows them to melt the sucker; there are no chemicals on the windshield, just water; unless the ultraviolet sunlight destroys the plastic. I thought you should know; If nobody else sees it, I'd like to know
