Connecting via Bluetooth is easy and requires no passwords. That's good, but it can become a problem if a neighbor accidentally connects. The book easily understands voice prompts and quickly picks up the "Magic Book" activation command. You must be relatively close to the book for it to take commands. - I can't figure out how to turn on the built in white noise. I can only activate it when it is deactivated via Bluetooth; then it will turn on automatically but cannot be controlled. The book light stays on for 5-6 hours, but the light and speaker will continue to work when connected to a standard USB to micro cable. If you plug it in and put it on a shelf, it can become a decoration for lasting use. The literature included is small text, poorly translated, and does not cover all commands or features. The kit includes a remote control that controls the color of the backlight. , mode, volume control and can turn the book on and off. I found the remote efficiency to be randomly unresponsive and it took a few button presses for anything to happen. Unfortunately, the remote control does not handle white noise. Because it has a small speaker, you won't get phenomenal sound or high volume. However, having a book reading an audio book is very magical! - The battery in the book is not available. However, the book can work when connected to a network. This is a great find for uniqueness, entertainment and opportunity. I subtracted a star from white noise that wasn't available and the remote didn't work very well. I didn't pick up this book because of these issues, so I can skip them.
