This DVR does exactly what it promises. Firstly, installing the windshield was very easy and it was easy to find the right spot for the dash cam so my recordings would contain as much information as possible about all my rides. Being able to detach the dash cam when you're not driving is a big plus and with the base powered it's a big plus and very handy. The recordings are high definition and the ability to connect a rear camera by simply plugging it into the dash cam with no additional setup is a plus. I also like the entries with my exact speed and position on the map. I added a rear camera and the picture quality stayed high. Adding the back was very easy to do and it's a secure fit. The smartphone app that comes with the dashcam makes it easy to transfer files and view the recording you've selected. Overall it was a great investment which added an unbiased record of all events with all the important information for that event "just in case". This is the perfect addition to my new car as well as any car wanting to add a pair of eyes.
