This light is very bright and is a great safety feature for your vehicle. I have a 2015 Toyota Highlander XLE AWD with a non-original hitch and wiring harness. My car stays on the whole time I step on the brake pedal. When you turn on the right turn signal, this indicator flashes, and when you turn on the left turn signal, nothing happens.? It flashes when hazards are enabled, which I like because you need that for extra security. So not perfect because of the turn signal, but good enough as it works when you hit the brakes. As an added "bonus," my alarm goes off when I lock or unlock my car, which means the towbar light also flashes. The design could be a little better. It's all plastic, which makes it very light, but it's not flimsy, so it works. I wanted the wire to be in the middle, not the bottom. I didn't want the wires to be visible so I cut and soldered the wires after moving them. The other part that could be improved is the caulking of the holes!
