I wanted to wear these boots for a while before writing this review. Because you always have to break in a pair of boots before you know if you really love them or not. So mine is about 3 months old with heavy use. I used mine in the swamps, they were in 8" of water just two hours before taking this picture. My feet were dry and dry. The Skid Plate integrated into the sole of the boot is great great for rough terrain Comfortable enough to wear all day In fact I've been wearing Tailor Bumps for a few weeks now, every day for the last month as they are probably the most comfortable pair of shoes in my closet with this bursitis My calls are 17 and 17 1/2", as you can see they are a bit tight around my calves. However, they quickly broke. No need to wear thick socks, they are really very warm in 20 degree weather. Laces up shins are great for keeping boots dry in splash water. Great cleaning. lol ok not in this pic but then I put on nice jeans and a wool shoe and got so many extras I can honestly say this is my favorite pair of 12 pairs of boots I currently have. I will order another pair when these wear out.
