Review on Brentwood TS 337 10 Inch 10 5 Inch 3 25 Inch by Vivek Allen

My dear old lady has mild dementia and has a habit of napping with the hob on. I needed a burner that would turn itself off and I found this Brentwood product while looking for an "Auto-Off" burner. After trying it, I found that while it turns off after it gets up to temperature, it turns back on after it cools down a few degrees, so it keeps turning on and off. Additionally, when it's [temporarily] off, the power indicator goes off, so anyone looking at it could assume it's off, not realizing it turns back on a few minutes later. The entire unit also gets too hot to touch, making it easy for a confused elderly person to get burned trying to move it. It may work for some but not for my needs.
