We have 2 English Mastiffs, one fawn and the other brindle. Brindle - A very dark brindle color that makes it almost impossible to see at night. So these collars are a must have! We used to buy more expensive similar collars (which couldn't be recharged) and they only lasted maybe a year before we had to tamper and trick them to make the light come on and stay on. So we ended up throwing them away and ordering these. It is extremely difficult to find a collar (or similar) that really fits these gentle giants without modifying in some way, and it fits both dogs perfectly without being too small. Easy to put on and just as easy to take off without separating either end. We've had them for a few months now and they still work without charging. It's also easy to turn on and off with 3 different light patterns, fast flashing, slow flashing, just turn it on. We bought one of each color so if one charges we have a backup. They are nice and bright and make it easy to find the dog in the garden at night. If things go bad I'll update my review, but so far so good! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
