Very good SSD upgrade for Macbook Air.

This new SSD works great. My MacBook Air 11 inch is mid 2013 and has always gotten very hot. After the update, all applications run significantly faster and the bottom of the case hardly ever heats up. If you're as fearless as I am when it comes to opening up your MacBook, and you've got this. If you have the right tools, replacing a drive takes no more than 10 minutes from start to finish. But that's where the fun ends. The instructions for backing up and restoring from the original hard drive are pretty complete and helpful. However, there are different methods. to make it possible and all of them didn't work 100% for me. If you browse YouTube videos related to this task, you will find that many people have slightly different methods to make this recovery successful. So do your homework before you start. Things you MUST do: First update to the latest operating system, take a good backup of your time machine on an external USB drive, don't use a flash drive for backups and most importantly: get some patience.
